ICE CREAM
It is summer SEASON here!
For me Personally, since I was a kid I always want to go for ice cream after having a long hectic day running out in heat. Having the ice cream cools down everything, it pauses the loudness around. The Past here in Egypt we Had a really bad weather with a heat wave reaching the temperature around the late 40s i couldn't even think of getting out of the home and I was craving ice cream so bad !!
so I decided to GET UP and TRY to make my own two-ingredient ice cream with my own Flavors and twists
I will start this one it is the ice cream base then You can do you own flavors that you want.
I did three different flavors which are Whisky chocolate swirl, Bailey's and Banana Biscuit Ice cream YUMMY!!!!!
For the ICE CREAM Base:
Whipping Cream ..... 2 cups ( 16 Oz)
Sweetened condensed milk ... 1 can ( 14 oz)
First thing first Place sweetened condensed milk in the fridge to keep cold
Meanwhile, Beat cold heavy cream on medium in a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment (or using a hand mixer) until stiff peaks form.
Turn down the speed a little and pour the condensed milk into the whipped cream, then, turn up the machine speed again and whip until your mixture is thick and too stiff peaks.
Now you have your ice cream base and able to create your own flavors, for me, I went for the ones below.
For Whisky Chocolate Swirl Ice cream:
Mix in:
Ice cream base ...... 1 cup
whiskey...... 2 Tablespoons (you could use less if you want )
Chocolate sauce ... 3 tablespoons
For Bailey's Ice Cream:
Ice cream base ...... 1 cup
Bailey’s ...... 2 Tablespoons (you could use less if you want )
Caramel sauce ... 3 tablespoons
Biscuits (crushed) …… 30 gm
For Banana Ice Cream:
Ice cream base ...... 1 cup
Banana ...... 2
Caramel sauce ….. 3 tablespoons
Place sweetened condensed milk in the fridge to keep cold
Beat cold heavy cream on medium in a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment (or using a hand mixer) until stiff peaks form.
Turn down the speed a little and pour the condensed milk into the whipped cream. (Stir in vanilla extract now if desired).
Then, turn up the machine speed again and whip until your mixture is thick and to stiff peaks.
Now you have your ice cream base you can add in your desired flavors and fixing. GO NUTS! experiment and enjoy creating something that is all you.
Place in a large resealable container and freeze at least 6 hours or overnight before eating.
